We created the Artichoke Night Moisturiser to harness the amazing power of vegetables. Artichokes ranks among the most antioxidant-rich of all vegetables and is now said to be the key to flawless, youthful skin. Artichoke is high in vitamins C, A and K. Cucumber is the other key ingredient alongside Artichoke. Cucumbers have been used for centuries as a highly effective skin conditioner and for combatting dark circles. Cucumber alone is called a highly effective skin tonic. In using natural ingredients, we created a naturally soft skin cream that deeply moisturises and gently cools the skin. It improves the skin's tone and texture. It will leave you with a natural radiance. We made your night moisturiser light and super easy to apply. None of that stickiness. Combined with the natural benefits of Cucumber, we are also able to gently reduce excess skin oil while also providing vitamins. Some other great features of this formulation include the inclusion of Gluconolactone. This is a poly-hydroxy acid (you many have heard of terms like alpha hydroxy acids). Gluconolactone is one of their cousins! Some people call them better than the alpha hydroxy acids - as they are believed to be better for someone with sensitive skin. Poly-Hydroxy Acid is included to improve the texture and tone of your skin, along with antioxidant benefits. The natural preservatives we use in this formulation are called Sodium Benzoate. In order to prolong the life and make your cream flexible for your life-style - we use Dehydroacetic Acid.
